If you love Northern Rhone style wines, this one’s for you.
Winemaker John Hancock took a chance when he planted Syrah and Viognier grape varieties at his Hawke’s bay estate. He was convinced the terroir was equally suited to Southern European grape varieties, and we thank him for sticking to that conviction. This wine is a touch more fruit forward than most classic Rhone styles which we love and is light on alcohol coming in at an astonishing low 12.2%, Can we get a thumbs up?
